Hello and happy Tuesday! Right now we’re seeing termites become more active, so we wanted to give you some things to look out for.

Termites eat wood, but also other items made of cellulose- this can include things like paper, clothing, and insulation.

A few signs you might have termites include seeing termite swarmers (flying termites), finding mud tubes around the property, or seeing damage such as cracked or bubbling paint, sunken areas behind wallpaper, and seeing random wood dust. Unfortunately, termites are good at hiding, so you might have them without seeing ANY of the damage they’re causing.

If you do see any of these signs, it’s important to start treatment for termites asap. The damage you see is often only part of the problem. We recommend yearly termite inspections to make sure your home is safe, and to save you money long term by avoiding costly repairs to your home.

We hope this helps! We offer termite treatment and yearly inspections as well. Want a FREE estimate? Call us at 318-286-0967 or send us a message to get started. Have a good one!
