Topdressing is the process of adding nutrient-rich topsoil to lawns. Yards that have suffered damage or have poor soil quality can greatly benefit from topdressing. The process starts with core aeration where plugs are pulled from your lawn. The holes left behind allow air, nutrients, and water to easily get to the roots of the grass. The lawn is then topdressed with quality soil. The soil will eventually get into the holes left by the core aeration.
