We are inching towards summer every week! Great news for fun by the pool, but it also means summer weeds are on the horizon. The best time to prevent summer weeds is right now, and by applying pre-emergents.
Pre-emergents will interrupt the weed’s life cycle underground, preventing it from emerging from the soil. This is an easier and more cost-effective way to treat weeds in your lawn than by applying something like Roundup.
When applied as directed, pre-emergents are unlikely to damage an established lawn, as opposed to Roundup, which kills the grass and the weeds.
