Happy Wednesday! We wanted to make a follow-up to our last mosquito post to show some examples of mosquito breeding places. These can include bird baths, childrens’ toys or other plastic items with water in it, dog bowls, outdoor pools, etc. Mosquitos need a very small amount of water to lay their eggs, so any standing water can be a mosquito daycare.

We recommend taking a look around your property when you’re doing routine maintenance for any areas like that and regularly empty them/change the water to reduce the likelihood of mosquitos.

This on top of routine pest control is a good way to reduce mosquito populations around your home. If you have any questions, let us know!
