Turn Your Irrigation Off

by | Aug 23, 2022 | Articles, Newsletters | 0 comments

If you have an irrigation system, you need to make sure it is turned off for now. Our area has had so much rain lately, that the ground is overly saturated. Not only is this a waste of money but it’s unhealthy for your grass. Depending on your soil, you could possibly make it a week to ten days before needing to water again. Most people will have to manually turn their system off to prevent this. If you have a WiFi Smart controller make sure it is connected to a local weather service so it will delay your next watering based on the current conditions. Proper water management is one of the main keys to having good looking grass! We hope this helps, and be sure to check out our knowledge base for more tips: matthewslandscape.com/search
