Topdressing: What is it and how does it work?

Topdressing is a new service that we’ve added this year. It involves adding a layer of compost, soil, sand, or a combination of them all to your lawn. This improves soil quality, promotes stronger grass growth, reduces soil compaction, and many other things. We live in an area where the subsoil is mainly clay. With our process, we core aerate the lawn and then add a layer of topsoil. The core aeration allows the topsoil to sink down into the cores and completely change the soil matrix of your lawn, creating healthier soil for stronger grassroots.
