Happy Monday! Soon, we’re going to be in the 20s which means we’re going to get our first hard freeze. If you haven’t winterized your vacuum breaker now is the time. Make sure you aren’t just halfway winterizing it– which allows water to still come through the pipe. This will cause the pipe to crack and will leave you with a repair bill. It’s also a good idea to cover your spigots and insulate any exposed pipes before the freeze.
