Happy Wednesday! One important but less talked about tip for keeping insects out of your house involves your plants! Shrubs/other plants that touch the house act as a bridge for pests that live in the plants to easily climb onto and into your home.

Trim branches back so they aren’t touching the house, and check for infestations in your plants as well. If you’re noticing a large amount of bugs feeding on your landscape, you may want to spray a pesticide to control them. Make sure the pesticide you spray is safe for the type of plants you have and follow the instructions on the label.

Most importantly, we recommend regular pest control spraying around the outside of the house as the best way to stop bugs from getting in.

We hope this helps! If you have any questions, let us know. Have a great day!
