St Augustine grass is known for its ability to fill in bare spots and repair damaged spots the fastest. As these “runners” grow throughout the yard they help give that thick carpet look it is know for. Also, as our night time temperatures get warmer and the grass starts to grow more aggressively, it’s a perfect time to aerate the ground so the yard can repair itself faster. Personally, it’s my favorite type of grass!
