Safety Tip! Broken bulbs are a high possibility when dealing with Christmas lights. We have a tip for you guys on dealing with them and staying safe while doing so. First, and probably the most obvious, but still needs saying, make sure your lights are UNPLUGGED. Not just turned off, but unplug them from the power source. Once that is done, put some work gloves on and unscrew the bulb and replace it. If the bulb is broken in a way that seems impossible to get to, a pair of pliers can come in handy. Another tip if you don’t have pliers at your disposal, use a potato! Yes, you read that right! Cut a potato in half and use one half of it to press down into the socket. Give it a turn and voila! If you have any questions about Christmas lights, let us know! And If you try the potato, let us know!
