When we talk about root rot, we always mention the irregular pattern as well as the “lime tree” or “highlighter yellow” grass that is the result of a fungus invasion. This photo is a good example to see those characteristics. It is important to treat fungus as soon as you notice something off in your lawn. This particular yard will suffer some grass loss and damage that will take a while to recover. Fungus is unfortunate, but can be somewhat “prevented” by treating proactively in the active fungus months. We have had a very wet and humid last few days so stay vigilant! We are experiencing the perfect environment for fungus to take over. Hope this helps!
