When it comes to lawn care and weeds you have to be ProActive…not ReActive. Timing is everything with pre emergents. If you wait until the weeds get to germinate then it is to late. You get to spend the next 6 months killing weeds instead of enjoying your lawn. The seeds are already in the grass and there is nothing you or I can do about that. What you can do is prevent them from ever growing. When you do this there are not any weeds to drop more seeds and continue the circle! Don’t kill your weeds…Prevent them. Apply your pre emergents before it is to late.
