Planting your fall color

When you are planting your fall color you want to make sure you are making good decisions when choosing your soil.  As you get ready to plant your fall color keep in mind that your flower beds need to be higher than all other areas. The reason for that is you want it to be able to drain really well. This prevents root rot. Also you want to use a really rich and fine potting soil or some sort of landscape mix.  When you squeeze the soil you want to make sure it does not clump up.  This will ensure it will not retain a lot of water.  If you have any questions, let us know. Have a good day!
