Our area doesn’t see cold and freezing weather like we’ve had, often. It’s easy to worry about your plants and whether or not they’re going to survive. The good news is that unlike when we had snowmageddon, this time, the plants didn’t have snow and ice on them for a week. For your shrubs, this means that most of the damage is localized to the foliage. You may only see some leaf loss instead of losing the plant completely. Tropical plants should have already been dead-headed already, so they should be okay. Annual color is a bit different. With them, the damage is hit or miss. We have seen some that appear okay, while some have major damage. Unfortunately, this is another situation where we will need to “wait and see” the extent of the damage. If you guys have any questions let us know!
