Christmas is now 63 days away! While we’re gearing up for our light installs, we wanted to talk about LED lights, and why we use and recommend them.
LED lights use up to 90% less electricity than incandescent ones, and the bulbs last up to 25 times longer. At the same time, you can plug in thousands of LED bulbs into one breaker versus only being able to plug in hundreds of incandescent bulbs. LED lights have a plastic coating on them. This means if dropped or jostled, LEDs tend to bounce instead of shatter like glass bulbs. Lastly, many people associate LEDs with cold, white lights. Nowadays, LED lights come in all colors, and can even mimic classic warm lights.
