Hands Off Muhly Grass!

by | Aug 18, 2021 | Articles, Newsletters | 0 comments

Don’t touch your pink muhly grass! This grass is becoming a very popular choice due to its wispy look and its ability to tolerate drought-like conditions. This time of year, most of the other ornamental grasses are beginning to fade out. Pink Muhly grass is just getting started. They bloom in the fall and the result is a beautiful fluffy pink flower that lasts for about 6-8 weeks. Trimming it now would mean that you would be cutting off any blooms that are getting ready to pop out. Hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions about pink muhly grass!
