We have another fall clean up tip for you guys! When replacing pine straw or mulch for your fall clean up, make sure you don’t cover your slab line or weep holes. Weep holes are built into homes to aid in any trapped moisture to get out of the walls. When you pile your pine straw or mulch over theses weep holes it can cause a lot of problems. If we get a bad rain the water will easily pour into those weep holes. Another issue it causes is that it helps pests gain easy access to the inside of your home. So just keep in mind when you’re replacing or refreshing your pine straw or mulch to keep it below the slab line and save yourself the headache! Hope this helps!
