Now that it is spring, it’s important to feed your grass. You should take care in choosing a product though. With so many options on the market, it can get confusing and potentially very expensive. Most products offer 30 days of feeding your lawn. The coating on the granules goes away pretty quickly, then you’re back at it again a month later. We use a granular fertilizer that is good for 180 days. Yes, you read that right, 180! That means that it will last much longer and could save you time and money in the long run. Know *what* you’re feeding your grass and know *how much* you should be feeding it. Too little and you won’t see the desired results, and too much could cost you by burning up your lawn with dreaded fert burn. Also, be sure that your equipment is calibrated correctly for the particular product that you use. Hope this helps!
