We hope your October is going great so far. As we get further into the month, it’s time to start tidying up our landscape and lawns. Now is a good time to trim any shrubs that need it (not your azaleas or camellias). You can also change out your mulch/pine straw- good bedding will help insulate your plants when it gets cold. You can start to slow down on watering, just make sure things aren’t getting too dry. As it starts to rain more, make sure you’re watching out for lawn fungus and bugs before it gets cold. The earlier you can catch problems, the easier it will be to treat. And finally… do not trim your crape myrtles right now. January/February is the time for trimming those if you want to keep them healthy.
We hope this helps! If you need anything, feel free to give us a call at 318-286-0967 or shoot us a message.
