July is almost over, but the heat is sticking around for a while. We all want to keep our yards hydrated and happy, but we want to dispel a few common ideas about watering in the summer. You don’t need to water more days during hot weather, especially if you’re only watering for a few minutes per day. It’s better to water for longer and only water about 2 times a week. If your yard looks a little dry, start by adding a few extra minutes to your normal watering time. If you’re unsure if your system is working for your yard, we can come out and perform a sprinkler system assessment to tell you exactly how long you need to water.
