Another weed we’ve been seeing a lot of lately is dollarweed. It looks like a mini lily pad and it thrives in wet conditions. The catch with this weed is that the ideal conditions for this weed are not the ideal conditions for your pre-emergents. Don’t worry though if you do get some break through dollarweed, it can easily be treated with a broadleaf herbicide. While herbicides are a good band-aid for dollarweed, it would be a good idea to figure out why the area is holding so much moisture and attack it from that angle.
