Deadheading Summer Flowers

How are your Summer flowers looking? When it comes to Summer time flowers, there is maintenance that needs to be considered. Flowers like daisies, petunias, zinnias, and marigolds may require deadheading. Deadheading promotes new blooms and also removes dead unsightly flowers. When deadheading, you can either cut the bloom off at the base of the flower or the base of the plant. This will prevent energy from being exerted to save old or dead blooms. Let us know if you have any questions!
