Now just stay with us here for a minute. Fire wood. Why in the world would we be talking about fire wood right now? Well, cutting your fire wood now is actually the best time to do it, in our opinion. Cutting it now will allow it to dry out all summer and get “seasoned.” Seasoned fire wood is probably a term you’ve heard before, but if not, all it means is that the wood has been allowed to sit and dry out to get rid of as much moisture as possible. Seasoned wood makes for a much better fire than green wood, aka freshly cut wood. Got any questions, let us know!
