Brown Patch Fungus

We have had some very cool mornings lately. While it is a welcome relief from the blistering days of summer, the cool weather brings with it one of our least favorite times of year: fungus season. Cool nighttime temps combined with warmer daytime temps creates the perfect conditions for fungus to rev up. Specifically brown patch fungus! Look out for highlighter colors in your grass as well as brown circular dead patches – these are early signs of fungus. If you can catch and treat fungus early with a fungicide, your grass can recover more quickly. Don’t let it get out of hand, because fungus will destroy your lawn before you know it. If you have any questions or think you may be battling a fungal issue, let us know! Check out our Knowledge Base for more tips: https://matthewslandscape.com/search.
