Bradford pear trees are all over town, and we aren’t big fans of them. They live a short life, get all kinds of diseases, and split all of the time! A big issue that is affecting them all over town is fire blight. Have you ever noticed a tree dying from the inside? The limbs will start to get droopy and the center of the tree will start to die off and thin out. The worst part is that there is nothing you can do about it. Here are some more details about blight and a few examples of what it looks like. We hope this helps, and be sure to check out our knowledge base for more tips: matthewslandscape.com/search
