Black Sooty Mold on Crapes

by | Jan 15, 2021 | Articles, Newsletters | 0 comments

Crape Myrtles are prone to scale that leaves a black sooty mold.  Although you can treat the scale, it won’t remove the residue left behind.  It will have to be washed off.  It’s also not the time to treat the scale.  It’s best to wait until warmer temperatures when bugs are most active.
