Azaleas

Azaleas have started blooming! These guys generally bloom once a year, unless you have the encore azaleas that bloom again in the summer months. Azaleas are super popular for their bright full blossoms that bloom around Easter. They do best when planted in the morning sun and late afternoon shade, meaning they need about 4-6 hours of sun. These are pretty loose parameters though because it really depends on the type of azalea you choose. Also, it’s important to plant them in soil that drains well. You don’t want them to get too waterlogged, or the roots will begin to die.
