Liriope, or Monkey Grass, is another plant that needs winter time maintenance. Liriope is typically used along flower bed boarders, but can also be used as individual clumps in your flower beds. Maintenance is relatively easy for them. You can use hand pruners, scissors, or even your weed eater. Just trim them down until they’re about 3-4 inches from the ground.
