Good morning and happy Wednesday!

Did you know? The best time to water your lawn is before the sun rises. The earlier, the better. The reason for this is that you want to run it before everyone starts taking showers in the morning, which lowers the water pressure.

Watering during the day wastes water, as some of the water evaporates before it gets to the roots. Another reason is because water droplets on grass blades when the sun is bright can burn them. Think of it as using a magnifying glass to burn leaves as a kid.

We don’t recommend watering at night because there’s usually less wind than in the morning, and wind helps carry water from your sprinklers to your whole yard.

Watering in the morning also gives your yard time to soak up the water before it gets too hot/sunny.

We hope this helps! If you have any questions, let us know!
