You may be wondering what you can do in your garden during early fall. There are many things you can do- prepping your beds for fall color, fertilizing your grass, etc. But one thing you don’t want to do is trim azaleas right now. The best time to trim them is in late spring/early summer, once their blooms have dropped. Trimming now will affect next year’s bloom cycle. So, if you want beautiful flowers next spring, leave your azaleas for now.
