With the recent rain and humidity, itβs not surprising to see mushrooms in someone’s lawn. We have explained before that all lawns have all varieties of fungi in them. In this case, the fugi is called fruit producing which causes the mushrooms to grow! Mushrooms can grow throughout the lawn, but can also be seen in a perfect ring. This is where the name Fairy Ring comes in. Donβt worry.. These mushrooms donβt harm the grass. They can be mown over and are likely to never be seen again. Hope this helps!
