We are finally starting to get some good looking color in! Despite the cooler temperatures recently, the roots have finally developed. A suggestion if you get out and plant some flowers soon is make sure you select a good plant to begin with. Make sure you pick a more developed plant that has a good root system growing. We always recommend buying the 4 inch pot plants over the smaller 6 packs for this reason. Also do your homework and make sure you select a plants that is suited to the bed it’s going in. Some flowers do better with sun while others need shade. We will talk more about bed prep later but that is also very important.
